Are you starting the new year out with a feline friend? Your kitty is bound to put lots of smiles on your face this year. In fact, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from Fluffy in the coming months. Read on as a Myrtle Beach, SC vet lists some moments cat owners can look forward to in 2016.
The Chair Snag
Have you ever gotten up to get something, only to find that your furball immediately took over the spot you vacated? The chair snag is one of Fluffy’s best moves, and we think it’s pretty safe to include it in this list of predictions.
The Halfhearted Pounce
Kitties love to hide and then pounce upon innocent passers-by. This may start out like an attack, but it’s fairly common for our kitties to turn and walk away after pouncing. Maybe they just like startling us!
Kitties can be very helpful! You’ll likely find your furball helping you with housework this year. Fluffy may assist with changing bedsheets, clear your coffee table of small items, hop into laundry to keep it warm, or decorate your clothes with kitty fur.
The Ill-Timed Snuggle
Fluffy has many wonderful qualities, but her sense of timing isn’t always purrfect. Many of our feline friends have a way of demanding attention or cuddles while we’re in the middle of doing something. We’re not expecting kitties to break this adorable habit anytime soon.
The Unknown Crash
Every now and then, Fluffy’s curiosity backfires on her. Don’t be surprised if at some point this year you hear a loud crash, which will be immediately followed by the sight of your kitty bolting for her favorite hiding spot.
Every Monday, thousands of tired people drag themselves out of bed, while their feline friends yawn, stretch, and go right back to sleep. This has definitely earned Fluffy some jealous looks! Note: The Monday doesn’t actually have to happen on a Monday for it to be effective.
The Adorable, Heart-Melting Purr
That moment when your cat looks up at you with complete adoration and starts purring loudly? This is one of Fluffy’s most adorable habits, and it’s not going away anytime soon! Happy New Year! Please contact us, your Myrtle Beach, SC vet clinic, for all your cat’s veterinary care needs in 2016.
